Job Description

Locations & Hours:         Fayetteville Elementary School - Special Ed – 32.5 hours/week (8:35 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.)

                                            Mott Road Elementary School – Special Ed – 20 hours/week (11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)

 

Probationary Pay:            2026-27 annualized contractual salary of $27,474 (32.5 hours/week) (Prorated from start date)

                                             2026-27 annualized contractual salary of $16,905 (20 hours/week) (Prorated from start date)

                                               

Effective Date:                  November 17, 2026

 

Minimum Qualifications:   Teaching Assistant Certification through NYS Department of Education is required to be considered for any Teaching Assistant position.  All positions require the ability to establish positive relationships with staff, students and parents; the ability to multitask and be flexible in a busy setting; and the ability to effectively manage students in high-activity settings while attending to students’ safety and personal well-being.
